Step by step instructions (Audi 4G,4H):

(1) Place the vehicle on a flat surface, it should really be flat otherwise the vehicle may end up crooked later and set the chassis in the MMI to Auto.

(2) Close all doors and lay the VCDS cable out through the window. No door may be opened during the entire process, otherwise the process will be aborted.

(3) Open VCDS and go to control unit 34 - Level control
- Click on Access Permission -16
- Enter the access code 20103.
- Then click on Home Position -04

(4) Select Activate level control and click on Start and wait until the message “Not running” appears and press Stop.

(5) Now select "Delete Level Control Calibration." Then click Start and wait until the message "Not running" appears, then click Stop. (IMPORTANT: Don't be surprised, an error message will appear on the speedometer.)

6) Now select "Reference level approach"
Important: DO NOT click "Reach Reference Level (Production)"! Wait until this is complete and the "Not Running" message appears, then press Stop again.

(7) Now measure the distances between the wheel center and the edge of the fender and note them down.
IMPORTANT: The distances must be measured as accurately as possible. To make this easier, we have developed the Drøpd Midpoint Tool.

(8) Now we take 5mm as lowering and add these 5mm to the previously measured and noted values.

IMPORTANT: Use the 5mm to make it easier to lower your car later. This means you can use the values you noted, for example:

VL: 385 / VR: 389 — HL: 390 / HR: 389
And add 5mm on top e.g.
VL: 390 / VR: 394 /// HL: 395 / HR: 394

(9) Then click on Customization- 10

(10) Now you have to enter the values you noted previously and added to the lowering for: body height, wheel house edge front left, etc.

(11) Once you have done that, go back and click on home position -4 again.

(12) Now select “Calibrate level control” and click on Start and wait again until the message “not running” appears.
IMPORTANT: You must not leave the control unit prematurely now.
Now you have mastered the first round and you are the added value of 5mm lower.

And now comes the trick that you repeat until your desired lowering is achieved:

(13) Delete level control calibration
IMPORTANT: DO NOT approach the reference level now!
Now go back to Adjust -10 and enter the same values as before, only rounded up, so round everything up to, for example, 400. Otherwise, the vehicle will end up leaning if you don't pay attention! Then go back to the basic setting -04 and calibrate the level control.
Repeat step (13) until you reach your desired depth.
IMPORTANT: In Dynamic mode your vehicle will lower by 15-20mm more than what you see now.

(14) When your vehicle has reached the desired height, activate the level control and then clear the error memory.

Have fun with your new lowering
